ECALS STEP-P21 format dictionary
JEITA is publishing the ECALS STEP-P21, a dictionary in the shared format prescribed by ISO13584/IEC61360, that is, the STEP/Part21 format, together with the ECALS dictionary (in conventional CSV format) with the aim of achieving the broad dissemination of the ECALS dictionary standard.
It offers various advantages, such as the following:
・Being based on the shared ISO/IEC format, the dictionary can be readily compared with those developed by communities other than ECALS.
・It is capable of extracting component classes and properties defined by ECALS from other dictionaries,thereby accelerating the dissemination of the ECALS dictionary.
*Note ECALS content distribution is managed as before only in the ECALS dictionary (CSV format).
